All 6 run on the ElevenLabs tiers: Enhanced at 110 credits / 1,000 characters (≈ $0.23 per minute of speech) and Premium at 160 (≈ $0.33) for the most natural result. The Standard tier reads Turkish too at 50 credits, and for most languages it has native voices of its own. Every clip downloads as MP3. ## Why a native Turkish voice matters

Turkish is agglutinative: one word can carry a whole English clause (evlerinizden, from your houses), and the suffixes chain according to vowel harmony, so the vowels of the ending follow the vowels of the root. A voice that does not know the pattern stresses those long words in the wrong place and breaks them into pieces. Turkish also has two letters English has no equivalent for - the undotted ı, and the soft ğ that lengthens the vowel before it rather than making a sound of its own.

All six native voices speak Istanbul Turkish, the register of national broadcasting and by far the most widely accepted for published content. Gökçe is the most-used Turkish voice in the library - joyful, warm and made for conversational and social content; Ahu is cheerful and encouraging, a natural fit for tutorials and customer-facing audio. Doga is an upbeat, rich male voice for promos, and Fatih a deep, clear one for narration and documentary work. Derya is a dynamic, friendly narrator for audiobooks and social trends, and Adam a thick, strong male voice for serious, informational content.

## Frequently asked questions

**Does it read ı, ğ, ö, ü, ş and ç correctly?**

Yes - all six are native sounds for these voices. The undotted ı and the soft ğ in particular are what foreign TTS gets wrong most often, and they appear in almost every Turkish sentence.

**Does it handle long suffix chains and vowel harmony?**

Yes. Agglutinated words are read as single words with correct final-syllable stress, and the voices follow vowel harmony because they were trained on Turkish speech rather than assembled from rules.

**Is it Istanbul Turkish or a regional accent?**

Istanbul Turkish - the broadcast standard, natural to audiences across Turkey. Regional accents such as Black Sea or Aegean are not offered.

**How much does Turkish text to speech cost?**

Native voices cost 110 credits per 1,000 characters on Enhanced or 160 on Premium; Standard reads Turkish at 50 with its universal voices, as it has no native Turkish voice. A 1,000-character paragraph is roughly one minute of speech - about $0.23 on Enhanced at the $5 pack rate. No subscription.
